This position runs the Control Desk – including but not limited to:

• Handling phones
• Coordinating communication among the Periop teams (radio and telephone communication)
• Scheduling add-on cases for the current day
• Creating sheets for add-on cases for next day and weekends
• Coordinating and ordering transports for inpatients coming to surgery
• Editing payroll
• Requisitioning of PO's to pay invoices for implants in ortho and urology cases
• Excellent communication and computer skills a must.
• Familiarity with billing/charge entry preferred.
