Sr. Payroll Analyst (Contractor) - VIZIO, Inc.

The Senior Payroll Analyst will be a part of a close-knit Finance team in an exciting fast-paced and growing company. This role will be reporting directly into our Payroll Manager and will be responsible for full cycle payroll processing, operations, and reporting.

• Prepare and process full cycle bi-weekly multi-state payroll for over 900 Team Members across the US.
• Process payroll data through the Workday HCM system and settlements and tax through ADP Smart Compliance.
• Review and verify the accuracy of time information and employee data changes in Workday.
• Confirm retro calculations that are processed via Workday for accuracy.
• Ensure payroll processing accuracy through audit reports, data analysis, and collaboration with other payroll team members and people managers.
• Timely and accurately prepare on-demand checks for terminations, retro-adjustments, and other disbursements determined to be necessary for immediate distribution.
• Coordinate and administer wage garnishment orders in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare and print payroll reports of earnings, hours worked, taxes, insurance, leave, 401k, Stocks etc., as needed.
• Back-up other payroll team members as needed.
• Interact with employees at all levels. Address pay-related concerns and provide payroll information in a friendly, courteous, and accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and wage & hour laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Balance current payroll tax and taxable to the year-to-date W2 box totals and resolve variances to minimize year end corrections.
• Assist Payroll Manager with the preparation of State and Federal quarterly and annual tax returns, W-2s for the US.
• Assist with ongoing set up, testing, and maintenance of the payroll system within Workday.

• High school diploma/GED required.

• Workday payroll experience required.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
• Minimum three years administering payroll in a high volume, multi –state, multi-company, environment.
• CPP certification highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office – Teams, Word, Outlook. Advanced Excel skills – including pivot table, v-look up.
• Must have high integrity and handle HR & payroll information with high degree of confidentiality.
• Solid understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements as well as payroll best practices and HR policies.
• Keen attention to detail, process execution, and follow-through with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure. Simultaneously manage multiple job assignments and ability to meet payroll deadlines.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner.
• Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment consisting of technical, interpersonal, and virtual contact.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive working relationships at all levels in the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to fulfill all job duties in a collaborative environment.
• Desire to continuously learn new features of development tools and software
