As Sr. Partner Marketing Manager, you are responsible for building the partner strategy, sales support and go-to-market plan for projects contributing to our $200MM+ business portfolio. This new role will work hand-in-hand with partners, product management, partner sales teams and other experts to lead our partner marketing function.
We are seeking experience in Partner Marketing. The ideal candidate must have an innate understanding of partner recruitment, partner enablement and boosting indirect sales. They will love and will be truly passionate about channel marketing – and the impact it can have on our business results.
You will be responsible for everything from creating the strategy to partner activations, event strategy, partner relations and sales enablement – it starts and lives with the Partner Marketing function.
Your role; develop world-class partner marketing strategies, rally the company around partner expansion campaigns and build partner sales momentum that can’t be stopped.
The right person for this position will be able to demonstrate their data-driven decision-making and passion for shaping successful, measurable partner programs. This is not a cookie-cutter job and we are not looking for cookie-cutter people. We are looking for a leader and a doer.
This is a Hybrid role (Wednesday & Thursday in Coppell, TX office).
Responsibilities
- Deliver and execute a Partnerships business development strategy for Blackhawk Network to deliver on partner recruitment and customer acquisition goals.
- Research, identify and secure new marketing partnership opportunities to achieve our business goals.
- Collaborate with partner sales to develop the frameworks and execute new ways of bringing on and onboarding partners.
- Develop partner enablement programs to help train partner sales reps and provide them with sales materials to drive sales for Blackhawk Network.
- Work with partners to plan and execute co-branded marketing campaigns to drive partner leads and sales.
- Promote Blackhawk Network’s Partner Resource Library to help partners gain access to research results, sales tools and supporting content.
- Help with planning and execution of our annual Partner Council meeting, with more than 200 attendees
- Generate and present performance reports and analytics to measure goal attainment
- Collaborate with Marketing sub-groups (Social, Paid, Content, SEO, Marketing Automation, Events etc.), to deliver objectives.
This role is a key position within the broader marketing team. Marketing automation, content marketing, demand generation, customer marketing and external agencies support the organization.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B Marketing experience
- Successful history in Partner Marketing
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue, new markets and sales acceleration within the Partner Marketing space
- Experience building, recruiting, and scaling partnership programs
- Expertise with B2B Software or Marketing Services required. Experience with rewards, incentives or channel marketing is a huge plus
- Real-world knowledge of resellers, distribution partners, alliance partners, strategic partners and referral partners
- Understanding of deal registration, partner resource management, marketing development programs, and partner sales incentives
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams
- Refined training, presentation and communication skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
- Ability to fight for best possible partner experience at ALL levels
