Title: Sr. .NET MAUI Developer
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (hybrid onsite)
Duration: 6+ months contract
Role overview:
This position requires a deep understanding of Xamarin, MAUI and.net mobile frameworks with a strong background
in mobile Application Development and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead the conversion of existing Xamarin Forms applications to .NET MAUI, ensuring seamless migration and optimal performance across all platforms.
• Collaborate with Development team to Design, Develop and implement sophisticated mobile applications in .NET MAUI.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the applications to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the other team members regarding best practices in Mobile Development.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in.net MAUI and mobile development technologies, incorporating new ideas and tools into the team's workflow.
Must Haves:
• Strong experience (8+ Years) in Mobile Application Development, specifically with Xamarin Forms, and .NET MAUI.
• Solid understanding of the conversion process from Xamarin to .NET MAUI, including common challenges and best practices
• Proficient in C#, XAML, & .NET Development environments.
• Experience with MVVM design pattern and dependency injection.
• Familiarity with restful API's Asynchronous Programming and Data Base storage solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with agile scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science software engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working in Meijer 6 state footprint or willing to relocate. Other Remote candidates with strong qualifications will also be considered.
• Active involvement in MAUI and Xamarin developer communities, including contributions to open-source projects, forums, or blogs.
