Job Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid in Milwaukee)

Type: 6-month contract with potential to convert to FTE

Our Milwaukee-based client is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer focusing on developing and maintaining software applications to support manufacturing operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development

  Lead the design and development of software applications using

  
  

  C#.NET, and other technologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Collaboration

  Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  
  

• Integration & Automation

  Develop

  
  

  RESTful APIs, automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell), and integrate business systems like MRPWMS, and ERP
• Troubleshooting

  Debug and resolve software issues using tools like

  
  

  Visual Studio and Git
• Process Improvement

  Identify opportunities to improve automation and streamline workflows.

  
  

• Strategic Projects

  Own high-level projects, ensuring scalability and alignment with company goals.

  
  

• Mentorship

  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting continuous learning.

  
  

Requirements

• Experience

  5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with

  
  

  C#.NET, and cloud-based applications.
• Integration & ERP

  Experience with business systems integration, particularly in manufacturing environments.

  
  

• Leadership

  Proven ability to lead projects, collaborate with vendors, and manage system rollouts.

  
  

• Problem-Solving

  Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and drive solutions.

  
  

• Manufacturing Experience

  Previous experience in manufacturing environments or working with ERP systems.
