Sr. Mule Java Developer

This position is for a Java Mule developer with the ability to self-manage a small POC and lead/develop Mule services. this is NOT a heads down mule developer position. This individual needs to be able to establish initial environment (via infrastructure), establish initial patterns, code standards, etc.

Ability to work with enterprise team and other support teams. Individual must understand SOA architecture and service related concepts around reliability, scalability, security, monitoring, etc.

Background:

5+ years of experience working with the MULE ESB platform as a Developer
8+ years of software development experience. Software integration and/or other ESB experience is a must.
Senior level Java development experience is a must
SOA design principles and best practices
Experience with SOAP and REST a must
Usage of Mule with files a benefit
Have expertise in large distributed systems, legacy experience is considered an asset
Background in agile and waterfall methodologies
Have excellent verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field and a minimum of
10 years relevant experience providing IT enables solutions.
Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
