We are seeking an experienced Sr. Model-Based Embedded Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in model-based software development using MathWorks. Potential candidates must have a track record of working on high-profile projects with tight deadlines.
The role is highly preferred onsite in Rockford, IL but can be remote for an exceptional engineer!
Candidates need to be US Citizens due to the nature of the work.

responsibilities:
Conduct hands-on development and troubleshooting of embedded model-based software for iterative enhancements on the B52 platform, alongside spearheading new software development for the E7 aircraft. Ensure strict adherence to DO178 A/B certification standards throughout the entire development process.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of Model Based Embedded Software Engineering
- 5 years of Math Works experience
- 5 years of Engine Control Experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 5 years DO178 A/B Process experience
