Compensation: $125K-$135K +20%
Location: Tampa, Florida
Responsibilities:The Sr Manager of Project Management for the Integration Management Office has overall responsibility for an assigned portfolio of key strategic projects for the organization, providing insights and direction necessary to ensure successful execution. This includes assisting with the establishment of necessary policies, processes, alignment of resources, metrics, and developing timelines to maximize the effectiveness of the projects. This position will help set the strategic direction and influence the success key global projects. The Operations Project Manager will work with functional departmental leadership to ensure programs are receiving the necessary visibility and support required for success, starting with a business case, and including approvals, launch, and timing execution of key defined milestones. The Project Manager will execute the optimization of the project and will work closely with the various business teams to create the most customer-focused and efficient strategies for our Company. For those projects which are sensitive in nature, the candidate will have to develop and maintain confidentiality when asked.
- Establish, lead, and execute projects, and provide day-to-day operational direction as necessary to ensure the teams deliver on their commitments.
- Ensure aggressively realistic schedules are established with input and commitment from core team members; risks are identified, managed, and mitigated through commercialization.
- Work with a broad range of management levels ranging from individual contributors to the ExCom Leadership Team.
- Lead and navigate complex projects through to completion while managing multiple stakeholders.
- Provide timely and accurate information regarding project plans, status, and needs, accordingly; work with functional management to ensure organizational alignment, and resource needs and provide input regarding team members' performance.
- Lead regular project team meetings, tracking progress against plan, design robustness, and managing risks to minimize impact on the project plan. In addition, effectively communicate project updates (individual projects and projects in aggregate) using effective presentations, team calls, or emails to convey status, wins, or pending risks.
- Establish, deploy, and execute project management best practices including risk management, project estimation, resource management, and requirements management. Develop repeatable systemic milestone processes for use in multiple projects.
- Assist in the coordination and staffing of department projects and leads those projects to a successful conclusion. Creates and maintains detailed project plans of how to reach goals within cost, performance, and time budgets.
- Provide a business case for prioritizing high-impact opportunities establishing links to business strategies and sustainable process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 4 years of project management experience implementing projects, driving change, and leading strategic initiatives.
- PMP certification and active credentials through PMI or other approved organization.
- Demonstrated ability to implement change at all levels of an organization; ability to drive projects to completion through other people without having direct supervisory responsibility.
- Strong change management and influence skills are necessary; ability to negotiate and communicate at various levels of an organization.
- Experience in core project management practices (project estimating, planning, scheduling, and risk management)
- Valid driver's license.
