The ideal candidate has experience analyzing data and translating complex results into understandable and actionable findings. They will clearly communicate data findings to all stakeholders in an organization, gather requirements, and quickly learn data sets and business concepts. This individual will develop and execute on complicated analytic projects to provide unique data driven solutions and drive quality improvement. They will generate queries, dashboards, and reports using complex datasets from a wide range of sources. They will have strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
SUMMARY
Develop and prepare analysis and information to publish strategic measurements and metrics that are aligned with the division's business goals and objectives and supports the informational needs of the division and institution. Conducts research regarding competitor data to provide comparative analysis on efficiencies. Collects, manages, and analyzes data to produce meaningful information used to formulate strategic recommendations for improving or increasing efficiencies with current operations. Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with federal regulations, guidelines, and requirements.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Divisional Operational Activities, Operations and Maintenance Data Metrics and Work Processes Data Quality Programs Leads, designs, and manages divisional operational activities and operations and maintenance metrics for use in product cost, building and mission area cost, cost/benefit, projects cost, staffing and control, work measurement, and organizational analysis. Extensive knowledge of vendors/contractors and products/services to conduct thorough review and analysis of cost. Analyzes, researches, resolves, and verifies data discrepancies, data quality and information integrity for all systems or software: ResourceOne, Hyperion Budget, OBIEE, CMMS (Maximo), Archibus, Timberline, and other. Ensures that all deliverables are accurate, complete and contain definitions, sources of data, building and department identification, etc. Understands the data contained within the parameters of analysis and uses appropriately. Conducts research and designs surveys and other instruments as needed to support data analysis. Develops and maintains processes, guidelines, SOPs, and procedures. Serves as the subject matter expert and functions as point of contact for operations and maintenance metrics. Utilizes independent judgment and complex analysis to gather facts and determine appropriate solutions. Tracks key projects and communicates progress. Initiates data quality programs that address work processes that affect the quality of data entered and stored by various institutional systems. Supports the Sr Informatics Analyst as liaison for division and internal departments to verify system data that impact financial and operational measurement. Analyze and prepare recommendations on financial and metric standards. Discusses and reviews all data, analysis, and metrics with the Operations and Maintenance senior management, Sr Informatics Analyst and Facilities Finance management in preparation of presentations to senior management and institutional partners. Acts as the metrics expert for Facilities Management, operations management, and senior management. Designs and develops tools, system reports, communication plans and educational materials. Works closely with Facilities Management leadership and staff on system and resource usage, guidelines, processes, and procedures. Is available for review, discussion, and clarification of metric analysis. Maps out project plans and milestones.
Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis Conducts extensive qualitative and quantitative analysis on position management data and controls. Reviews and analyzes staffing and FTE (Full Time Equivalency) data, overtime usage/concentration, productive vs non-productive hours and other personnel data to assist in developing drivers and metrics for staffing models utilized in developing divisional standards used to calculate percent of institution and compared to the institution and other private entities via APPA, White Stone, and/or other standards. Develops, manages, monitors, and reports staffing and control, productivity metrics, work measurement, and organizational analysis. Maintains all data sensitive and confidential.
Designs database, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations Designs database, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations. Develops and supports the reporting and analysis of key measurements, trends and benchmarks. Integrates financial, product cost, staffing and other data from various sources when conducting analysis and preparing reports. Develops a financial and metric standardized structure that generates analysis and reporting for use in budget and forecasting models and processes and for creating and producing cost per building models and reports. Uses various sources (i.e.; Hyperion, PeopleSoft, OBIEE, CMMS (Maximo), Archibus, Timberline, and applications to design and generate reports as needed to assist the division with analysis of financial, operational and project related activities. Report production includes the distribution of monthly, quarterly, year-end and ad-hoc reports, charts and graphs that concentrate on data that supports information and data needs for Facilities Management Division senior staff and management. Ensure quality and accurate reporting. Documents all processes and standards for reporting, analysis or metric requirements. Requires independent decision-making and conflict management skills to meet strict deadlines under pressure. Uses the Facilities Management Portal site as a communication platform.

Required: Bachelor's degree in a Business Administration, Statistics, Healthcare Administration or related field. Seven years of data analysis experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in database management and reporting. Demonstrated skills in multiple database reporting to include SAP Business Intelligence, Microsoft Access, Power BI, and SQL, and Tableau. Background with CMMS or construction database.
