Sr. Mechanical MEP Engineer - Penn Technical Staffing

An engineering firm located in Allentown, PA is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team.  This person will be responsible for the technical delivery of mechanical/HVAC engineering analysis and design on building and non-building projects.  They will be part of or even lead a team through the design coordination, execution, procurement support, and construction administration on a variety of mechanical projects. They are responsible for overseeing, improving, and developing technical competence within the Mechanical Engineering team. They will also be responsible for completing calculations, reports and spreadsheets. Projects types will represent a broad cross section of commercial, governmental, industrial, institutional, recreational facilities, residential and retail projects types.  Job Responsibilities: Perform HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection design for various building types; Provide design reviews and comments to project managers and external consultants to ensure mechanical design meets requirements; Provide engineering advice on existing and new buildings; Liaise and coordinate with clients; Preform energy and load calculation for HVAC to meet code requirements.
