Sr. Mechanical Engineer (gears/actuators/mechanisms) - 1st St. NW Technical Staffing

Established engineering firm has an opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer or somebody who is looking for an opportunity down the managerial path. This position will allow you to work on world renowned projects including sports, entertainment, aerospace and amusement parks. Direct hire position with very competitive benefits!

Duties:
* Design complex machinery (gearing, actuators, wheels and weldments)
* Produce engineering calculations
* Develop/monitor design budget and schedule
* Project Engineering responsibilities
* Participate in design reviews with contractor, architect and engineering consultants
* Perform stress/fatigue/FEA analysis

Requirements:
* B.S. or M.S.  degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
* Knowledge of current codes and requirements that apply to Mechanical Engineering
* GD&T knowledge
* Proficiency in using analysis software
* Strong communication skills and ability to lead a group required
