**PAY RANGE**
The Target Pay Range for this position is $124,300-$151,700 annually. The full Pay Range is $96,700-$179,300 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

**IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:**
As the Senior Manager of Mortgage Servicing at BECU, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all operations related to mortgage loan servicing. Your focus will primarily be on enhancing the relationship and member activity via a third-party sub-servicer. Your contributions will lead to improved process flows, better communication, and enhanced member interactions, ultimately providing a superior member experience.
*****This role is primarily remote with occasional in office days at our Tukwila headquarters required.**
**WHAT YOU'LL DO:**
+ **Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies** : Ensure that all your actions align with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory, and Information Protection requirements.
+ **Analyze and Review Monthly Servicing Reports** : Dive into monthly servicing reports, assess SLA performance, mortgage portfolio performance, and asset strengths and risks. Develop, implement, and review statistical reports to maintain proper management controls.
+ **Maintain Positive Vendor Relationships** : Foster and maintain strong, positive working relationships with vendors to ensure high performance from the sub-servicer.
+ **Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders** : Partner with Vendor Management and other BECU internal stakeholders in contract reviews, amendments, and renegotiations with the sub-servicer.
+ **Handle Escalations and Drive Resolution** : Receive escalations, determine the best path for resolution to meet member and employee servicing needs, and take steps for ongoing process improvement internally or with the vendor partner.
+ **Review and Reconcile Invoices and Custodial Accounts** : Scrutinize and reconcile monthly servicing invoices and custodial accounts to contract requirements.
+ **Coach ~ Mentor ~ Train Staff** : Educate and train BECU Member Solution staff and Mortgage Lending management on servicing process changes. Offer ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training within the department to develop and encourage employee performance. Meet with staff regularly to conduct personnel evaluations, using Success Factors as performance measures.
+ **Recommend Process Updates** : Review and create recommendations to update procedures or guidelines to ensure consistent application of modification and exception activities.
+ **Collaborate with Leadership Partners** : Work with Mortgage Lending leadership partners to identify and bring resolutions to issues affecting efficient operating practices in the Mortgage Servicing department.
+ **Ensure Timely and Accurate Services** : Ensure timely and accurate services are provided by providing managerial leadership, direction, and effective monitoring of performance. Establish departmental and individual goals and objectives consistent with the operating plan.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required.
+ Three years of people management experience required.
+ Minimum five years of experience in mortgage banking, with an emphasis on servicing, is required.
+ Comply with SAFE Act Legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language.
+ Effective leadership and negotiation skills.
+ Occasional travel, primarily Puget Sound, but also nationally.
+ Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and/or projects.
