The Sr. Manager, Medical Relations is part of the Breast and Skeletal Health Solutions business unit and is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of professional medical education and thought leader engagement. This role requires team leadership as well as strong partnerships in breast imaging and breast surgery. Relationship management and medical education are primarily focused on Radiologists, Radiologic Technologists, Breast Surgeons, Residents, and Fellows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Leads medical education team, develops and drives high performance and impact
+ Creates strategic vision, plan, and objectives for aligning professional partners to specific business needs
+ Builds, develops, and maintains key thought leader relationships
+ Highly communicative, driving regular touchpoints with physicians and internal teams to share insights
+ Primary point of contact with professional societies and academic institutions in partnership with other functional leads
+ Works collaboratively with clinical affairs, outcomes research, and scientific communications to identify research sites and faculty speakers
+ Gathers, monitors, and shares trends in practice and education
+ Oversees professional partner feedback and forums for gathering input
Qualifications
+ Talent Development: Experience leading and developing high performing teams
+ Clinical Acumen: Ability to absorb clinical data and knowledge
+ Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high responsiveness.
+ Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain key physician relationships to balance long term strategy with strong tactical execution
+ Collaboration: Experience leading initiatives and working with all levels of an organization
+ Program Execution: Compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards to maintain compliance. Knowledge of Continuing Medical Education (CME) processes.
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Advanced degree(s) preferred
Experience
+ Required: 10+ years in medical relations, medical affairs, medical education, and thought leader engagement. Demonstrated success managing a high performing team.
+ Preferred: Experience in advisory boards, symposia planning, logistics and execution.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $138,100 to $230,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
