Organizational Relationships:
Directly reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing Analytics with interaction across the marketing organization.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Create reporting that tracks KPI’s and provide insight into various business areas using a combination of SQL, Excel and Data Visualization Tools such as PowerBI or Qlik.
2. Utilize strong SQL skills to extract complex data or orchestrate data processes within Microsoft SQL or Snowflake databases to support dashboard development or report development.
3. Direct and supervise other analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects/report, plan projects and delegate tasks for associates. Develop roadmaps for new projects and identify and implement strategies to create increased efficiency within the team.
4. Will attend meetings designed to help drive strategy and identify underperforming areas – the Sr. Manager will be responsible for gathering data, findings/insights needed to drive these meetings.
5. Utilize large volume of internal and external data sources in model development and statistical analysis. Identify data sources, develop data queries, and conduct data exploration and data mining.
6. Design marketing attribution & track relevant outcomes to be used in measurement of marketing campaigns/products vs. objectives and industry benchmarks.
7. Conduct analysis of website properties or digital marketing campaigns – including monitoring key KPI’s such as CPC’s, Click through rates, Website traffic, Website conversion and other key customer journey indicators.
8. Develop and present PowerPoint decks that showcase findings from Pilots/AB Tests, Ad-hoc analysis or regular tracking of KPI’s.
Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science or related disciplines.
2. At least 6 years working experience in analytics in areas such as Marketing Analytics, Digital Analytics, Database Marketing, or Business Analytics.
3. The successful candidate must have very strong querying skills which ideally should include Microsoft SQL or Snowflake SQL. The candidate must be able to demonstrate this skillset, which should include creating complex queries, views, stored procedures and functions.
4. Excellent project management skills to build and execute project plans with clearly defined deliverables, timelines, and ownerships. Provide prompt and timely updates with progress, issues, and risk mitigations.
5. Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations and effectively communicate findings.
6. Experience managing and supervising a team of analysts.
7. Experience using/building Visualization tools (Tableau, Qliksense, Power BI). Qliksense experience a plus.
8. Experience using at least one statistical tool (R, SAS, or Python).
9. Strong communication and presentation skills.
10. Expert in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
