Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
The Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity is responsible for all IT infrastructure strategy and IT operations, ensuring the company's network infrastructure and associated systems are available, secure and performing efficiently. This includes developing, supporting, monitoring, securing and optimizing key technical areas, particularly on-premise and cloud network and server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. This role is responsible for leading and managing staff within the IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including local servers, cloud servers, LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, etc.
- Manage the telecommunication infrastructure to include maintenance of voice, data and video equipment
- Lead the planning and deployment of Cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures and compliance initiatives
- Maintain up to date working knowledge of Cybersecurity compliance and industry standards such as CMMC, NIST 800-171 and other standards as are relevant to Benchmade
- Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity and performance meets business requirements
- Prepare scope of work and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts
- Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, contractors and tech staff to secure and maintain infrastructure-specific products and services
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure system administration and project management
- Establish, maintain, monitor, and report on tech support service level agreements with business partners
- Manage daily operations of the IT support desk and support services
- Engage cross-functionally to create an annual IT infrastructure CAPEX and OPEX budget
- Manage ERP system administration
- Manage desktop procurement, deployment and on-going support
- Coordinate and implement network software and hardware upgrades
- Support all business partners with secure data and application integrations
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related degree
- 7+ years of networking, hardware and software experience supporting routers, switches, firewalls, servers and databases in a Microsoft environment is required. Equivalency to the qualification standard will also be considered.
- 5+ years leading IT / Cybersecurity
- CISSP/CISM/CRISC/GIAC/SANS – preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of incident response and crisis management with the ability to identify both tactical and strategic solutions
- Cloud security knowledge and skills; securing cloud environments as well as monitoring and responding to cybersecurity incidents
- Malware analysis, virus exploitation and mitigation techniques experience.
- Experience in interfacing with internal/external contacts regarding security policy and standards violations, security control failures and incident response situations
- Understanding of network, desktop and server technologies, including experience with network intrusion methods, network containment, segregation techniques and technologies such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS)
- Experience working with SIEM
- Experienced at proactively leading cross-functional DR efforts to enable BCP and resiliency
- Experience working with data and voice networking
- Experience maintaining good working relationships across all levels in the organization
- Experience leading multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and communicating plans and statuses with stakeholders
Working Conditions:
- Working Environment: Office Position
- Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 lbs., sitting and talking on the phone and computer for long periods of time.
- Travel Requirements: As needed, less than 5% of the time.
