Client Media Exchange is hiring a Sr. Manager, Internal Communications, reporting to the Brand Marketing Director, to lead the development and execution of the internal communications strategy for our organization.
The Sr Manager, Internal Communications is a newly created role within the CMX Marketing team, tasked with ensuring that there is a well-orchestrated and executed strategic communications plan within the CMX team and out to the broader *** organization.

You will ensure that our teams are up to speed and actively engaged with our latest news, product updates, training, and culture-driving activities. You will be a key member of the communications leadership team and work closely with senior leaders to ensure that all internal communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with the company s goals and values. You will be responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages employees and strengthens the company s culture.
In this role, you ll have an opportunity to translate the complexity of CMX s brand, initiatives, and product into clear, engaging internal communications. We re looking for someone with excellent creative thinking skills and an ability to approach internal communications challenges with an out-of-the-box mindset to help generate Client ideas for engaging content, events, campaigns, and other initiatives. You ll be successful in this role if you genuinely love building understanding and enthusiasm with internal teams.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications: Develop and execute strategic internal communications programs that build awareness of CMX s brand, business, and product strategy within the CMX team and within the broader *** organization.
Develop the overall internal comms approach for CMX include determining the optimal cadence of communication across various teams, as well as the level/depth of information to be communicated to different levels and sub-groups within CMX.
Create and evangelize a standardized narrative that connects all communications internally within CMX and externally with the larger *** enterprise.
Ownership of key comms channels: Drive the communications strategy, narrative, agenda, and follow-ups for monthly all-team meetings, monthly Directors+ meetings, team offsites, and leadership Q&As
Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant
Content Creation: Partner closely with Marketing and SMEs from across the organization to translate the complexity of CMX s product and business into impactful internal communications, whether through clear and compelling writing, monthly team meetings, engaging live events, or compelling digital media. And maintain a high quality bar in all that you do.
Cultural Alignment: Embody the CMX culture and voice in all internal communications and coach others to embody our tone.
Project Management: Efficiently manage the planning and execution of internal communications programs.
As part of a small team, you will need to be comfortable operating with autonomy to build our internal communications capability. And that may mean influencing teams to think differently and challenging existing processes. We know you can navigate and break down barriers with a good business case. Success in this role will require comfort working with leaders and peers across a dynamic and diverse team. You will frequently work closely with our leadership team, as well as sales, product, and product marketing teams to ensure clarity of communications.

Minimum Requirements
Stellar written and verbal communication skills; in particular, an ability to understand, synthesize, and articulate complex and technically sophisticated topics across emails, newsletters, intranet content, executive communications, and more.
Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities. The Senior Manager should be able to develop and execute effective internal communication strategies aligned with the organization s goals and values.
5+ years of relevant working experience in internal communications, preferably within a B2B and/or technology company
Experience collaborating effectively with sales and product teams, partnership leads, marketing colleagues, and other senior executives
Strong project management skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field or equivalent required
