What you'll do
- This role will require you to lead the work of HR Business Partners while motivating and evaluating the team’s performance
- Develop and create best in class People business partner practices with a scalable mindset
- Execute and deliver HR products to Centers of Excellence with precision
- Partner with Centers of Excellence to be the customer voice for the People leadership team
- Builds and leverages relationships at all levels in the organization, informing and assisting others while being viewed as a valued, trusted, and credible business partner
- Acts as a trusted advisor to client leaders, assisting them to carry out their business and functional plans
- Works with business leaders to effectively lead and execute all annual people initiatives for the organization
- Provides strategic guidance to clients to implement solutions for employee relations issues trends, patterns
- Consults with our clients and the team member experience group surrounding disciplinary and termination employment processes
- Implements success measures to coach leaders to be proactive in employee relations and avoid reactionary situations
- Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to drive and/or lead change with the HR operation.
- Fosters a culture that is diverse and inclusive, in line with the strategic goals of the organization, team building, organizational development, engagement and accountability
- Facilitates effective change management initiatives
- Develops and conducts team development/team building strategies both proactively and, when necessary, to improve team performance
- Proactively works to support our leaders with talent initiatives, leadership development programs and improving team member performance engagement (succession planning, 9 box, targeted development plans, etc.)

- Effectively uses data to gather insight and identify trends to ultimately influence key business decisions and positively impact business results
- Translate business objectives into projects with clearly defined scope, timing, deliverables, resources, and key measures of success.
- Effectively set and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Manage ongoing project plans, budgets, resources, and support functions.
- Facilitate meetings and drive project issues through to resolution.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and lead project team members. Influence project team to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Presents options to leaders on organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, employee development, etc.
- Identifies and delivers training, both compliance and leadership, to client work group(s) (e.g., Diversity, harassment, and discrimination)
- Collaborate across centers of excellence and team member experience teams to develop sustainable solutions to business challenges
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Management or related field or equivalent experience/training
- 7 years of human resources experience
- 5 years in handling employee relations
- 3+ years staff supervisory/management experience or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- Familiar with state and federal employment laws including but not limited to; FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, Title VII, etc.
- Experienced in providing guidance and counsel to executive leaders
- PHR/SPHR certification
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal skills, organizational, and analytical capabilities
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Skills in problem-solving and decision-making
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations in a professional and dignified manner
- Ability to work independently and to be highly self-motivated
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results
