Come join Maximus and be part of the strategic Team responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of multiple assigned projects including but not limited to preparing Facilities and Administrative (F&A) rate cost proposals, conducting space surveys and analyses, assisting in the negotiation process with federal agencies, and implementing MAXIMUS Comprehensive Rate Information System (CRIS Long Form and Short Form) and WebSpace software tools. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all business issues and questions related to project activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations for a program, including staffing, performance monitoring, quality assurance oversight, training, subcontractor management, auditing and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Ensure project compliance with all applicable requirements of the contract, state and federal regulations as well as corporate policies.
- Manage direct reports and the cost-effective operation of all project tasks.
- Manage subcontractors that provide services to program.
- Manage audits of operations.
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure effective coordination of activities.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in collaboration with other key stakeholders.
- Establish and maintains effective relationships with clients and other external entities.
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative methodologies to improve service levels and overall operational efficiency.
- Manage the project's quality assurance and training programs as well as corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Monitor performance against key indicators established internally or by the clients.
- Develop solutions to issues or complex problems.
- Develop performance goals and objectives for staff, and monitors achievement of those goals.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
-Work with F&A Team Leads to establish and monitor project schedules, analyze business needs and prioritize resource allocation for F&A projects.
-Conduct analyses and perform work as needed to complete projects on time and within budget.
-Participate in planning and implementation of business development activities for F&A practice including but not limited to: responding to RFP's, preparing
proposals for follow-on or new business for Higher Education Practice (HEP), such as drafting statements of work, timelines, and estimating levels of effort
for budget development purposes; making campus visits and phone calls, and making presentations at regional and national conferences.
-Assist in planning and implementation of HEP marketing plans
-Develop and maintain productive working relationships with management, clients, team members, and other groups.
-Monitor costs for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to budget requirements.
-Function as the interface between HEP personnel and clients.
-Drafting of technical status and final reports as required by the project including submissions to the Federal Government.
-Provide assistance to CRIS and WebSpace software development and support team for the following: identifying, prioritizing and implementing
changes to software products to ensure that client needs are met and products remain current and responsive to industry demands; publishing
CRIS Manual updates; conducting related training and workshops (i.e. CRIS University, HEP user's conference)
-Provide customer support to CRIS and WebSpace related questions as part of client maintenance agreements
-Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Manages activities of two or more sections or departments.

- In some instances this manager may have subordinate supervisors and/or managers.
- Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
- Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
- Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
- Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
- Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates.
- Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
- Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
