About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in Salesforce Administration and Release Management for federal environments. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, including managing Salesforce instances and overseeing release cycles, while leading a small team. This hands-on role requires technical expertise in Salesforce and the ability to manage multiple deployments, ensuring compliance with federal standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow teams, be a caring manager of people, and responsible for professional development by providing coaching and identifying new opportunities for growth for direct reports.
- Responsible for coordinating deployments across all environment tiers and application stacks.
- Help document, lead and track on going technical changes across the DevSecOps teams which are received by the teams, ensuring that guidance is provided to help lead these changes into a sustainable and common direction .
- Work as a technical adviser and lead focused in the DevSecOps space within the team, helping to govern and lead ongoing initiatives that leads to increased security stance as well reduce cost of delivery
- Tools improvement, process automation and innovation
- Review and analyze systems issues to identify root cause and provide solution options, ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans
Improve provisioning, automation, configuration, integration, deployment and release processes
- Responsible for coordinating CI/CD activities across multiple implementation workstreams
- Must possess expert technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations (DevOps), monitoring and management tools, and deployment processes and tools Tracks and documents changes to the team's processes and automated procedures, coordinating w/ management the long term and short-term deliverables.
- Provide application performance and feature capability improvement recommendations to product development team for better customer experience. Drive product excellency through fully incorporating Operations Requirements.
• Oversee and manage Salesforce administration, including user management, security, and system configurations.
• Lead and coordinate all Salesforce releases, ensuring smooth deployments using tools like Salesforce DX, Git, Flosum or Copado.
• Manage a small team of Salesforce admins and developers, providing leadership and technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with federal security and regulatory requirements in Salesforce environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive Salesforce solutions.
• Collaborate with federal stakeholders to ensure Salesforce configurations meet federal compliance and security standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of expertise
- Seven year's related experience

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
