It’s time for a career you can be proud of.Sr Manager, Sales Training - Rare DiseaseLiveWhat you will doYou will serve as the primary training lead for the KRYSTEXXA sales team and lead the development of product, disease state and any associated training needs.
The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, diligent, and self-motivated individual that excels in a fast-paced environment and is interested in joining a growing organization.This position is a US-based remote role reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Sales Training for the RDBU.
This role will be leading a team of two, managing the New Hire / Onboarding and Advanced Training curriculum, as well as partnering with Brand on strategic initiatives, semester meeting strategies, and ongoing training needs.Additional responsibilities include:Collaborate across the RDBU learning team, cross functional internal teams, and other BU learning teams.Build and scale learning best practices, leading sales capability and pull-through initiatives, and work with internal stakeholders to support resource generation and approval.Manage, Coach and Develop staff in L&P roles to deliver on the curriculum and develop future talent for the organizationWork closely with sales leadership to ensure that a proactive, strategic approach is in place for the brand so that the brand will meet its strategic objectives.WinWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
The standout professional we seek is driven with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales Training experienceOrMaster’s degree and 4 years of Sales Training experienceOrBachelor’s degree and 6 years of Sales Training experienceOrAssociate’s degree and 10 years of Sales Training experienceOrHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales training experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience defining training goals and objectives with key internal clients, and establishing, communicating, and leading teams to timelines and financial targetsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands with a high level of initiative and independence required.Experience working with sales team, regulatory, legal, compliance, vendor management as client or functional unit lead.Ability and willingness to conduct field travel, as well as to travel to sales meetings, etc.Experience in content development and instructional design.Demonstrated self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects and teams in a meticulous environmentProduct sales, marketing or training experience in Ophthalmology or a rare specialty disease categoryExperience with rare disease -severe inflammatory disease strongly preferredStrong clinical competence to model and shape curriculum and staffStrong communication, leadership, and Interpersonal skills, along with superb written and verbal abilitiesUnderstanding of Access & Reimbursement environment, as well as Veeva data systemsAbility to identify commercial training needs, leadership development strategies and optimally addressing those needsThriveWhat you can expect of usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S.
