Sr. Manager Category & Commercial Insights - SodaStream

We are looking for a Senior Manager Category & Commercial Insights to join our Strategic Insights team. This position will partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to facilitate the forecasting process and provide the ‘one version of truth’. You will own and evolve the S&OP process, both internally and globally, and drive consensus across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. You are a strong leader who can effectively communicate to senior management. You will be responsible to lead the transformation of analytics into key insights using integrated data sources to inform the business and drive better decision making.

You will be responsible for carrying out and attaining the mission and goals of the Insights, Analytics and Strategy team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Drive data-led decision making across the business.

·      Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.

·      Lead employees to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.

·      Create an inspiring and motivating team environment with an open communication culture.

·      Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to execute KPI reporting needs.

·      Bridge the gap between supply and demand; act as the ‘one source of truth’ for all planning needs.

·      Drive high-level forecasting methodology and align team outputs with overall business needs.

·      Own S&OP relationship with HQ – prepare and facilitate monthly S&OP prep meetings and production orders.

·      Create and manage tools as necessary for the team to utilize (MAPE/Bias, Forecast Compare, Opportunity Master, etc.)

·      Document assumptions and risks associated with new forecast; communicate to senior management and employ continuous improvement mindset to identify and recommend changes.

·      Work closely with sales strategy and category management providing analytic insight from team of analysts to inform both disciplines.

·      Manage priorities in the business to ensure analyst team is focused on the right analysis at the right time to drive growth and meet the priorities of the business.

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE REQUIREMENTS:

·      Minimum 7 years of management experience in Demand Planning, Analytics or related field, where people leadership and tactical responsibilities can be demonstrated.

·      Minimum 3 years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions

·      CPG Experience (Preferably fast-moving consumables)

·      Advanced systems and MS Office knowledge (e.g. Excel & Access)

·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills; influencing without authority.

·      Ability to communicate and work well in a business matrix structure.

·      Process lead management (Lean Six Sigma an asset)

·      Attention to detail, analytical, methodical & rigorous.

·      Good negotiation skills, collaborative

·      Organized, reliable, flexible and results oriented.

·      Ability to effectively work through complex issues under tight timelines – critical thinker.

Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $120,000 - $160,000
