Intra-Cellular Therapies is a biopharmaceutical company committed to the development of novel CNS drugs, leveraging innovative technology based on the pioneering efforts of ITCI co-founder and Nobel laureate, Dr. Paul Greengard. ITCI has a diverse portfolio of approved and investigational compounds across different stages of clinical development. Our lead candidate, lumateperone (CAPLYTA®), is FDA-approved for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults as well as for the treatment of bipolar depression in adults as monotherapy and as adjunctive therapy.

This position in biostatistics will assume increasing statistical responsibilities over time. This role provides statistical support for developing statistical analysis plans for early and late-stage clinical trials. This position is for committed, motivated, and energetic candidates who when offered the opportunity can prosper and function successfully overtime. For the first 6 months to one year after joining the team, the position will primarily focus on supporting various statistical activities. This role will receive mentorship by an Associate Director or above to best ensure successful statistical contribution and integration into the Biostatistics Department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide statistical support for medical affairs publications and studies.
• Analyze data to provide statistical interpretation for clinical reports and contribute to clinical study designs. 
• Over time, with mentorship, provide support to statistical sections of clinical trial protocols, and support the development of statistical analysis plans for various trials
• Analyze and interpret trial data using SAS software
• Generate tables, figures, and reports; conduct modelling and simulation to help design clinical trials and analysis plans; contribute to scientific publications
• Collaborate with Data Management to ensure high-quality preparation of study databases
• Collaborate with Statistical Programmers to execute the Statistical Analysis Plans appropriately

Requirements:

• PhD Degree in statistics, biostatistics, or closely related field, can be a new graduate or with experience up 5 years in statistics or biostatistics at a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or research center.
• Knowledge of SAS software through his/her education and/or during previous employment
• Capable of collaboratively engaging with external 3rd parties, vendors or CROs.
• Energetic and a fast learner and flexible to adjust to shifting needs and priorities.
• Able to collaborate and provide support to all colleagues including our senior colleagues who provide mentorship and directives.
• Able to interface well with all levels of personnel, including peers, and other department heads.
• Ability to produce high quality results across multiple studies and prioritize demands.

Sr. Manager, Biostatistics: Base Salary Range $120,000 - $140,000
