Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Litigation Attorney specializing in Toxic Tort Defense to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigating complex cases, particularly in the realm of toxic torts and product liability. This role involves providing strategic legal counsel, managing litigation, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of toxic tort defense cases from initiation to resolution
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to toxic tort and product liability
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Represent clients in court, depositions, and arbitration hearings
- Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to gather evidence and prepare for trial
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations pertaining to toxic tort and litigation defense
- Jurisdictions-licensed attorney with a minimum of 7 years of litigation experience
- Proven track record in toxic tort and product liability cases
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and defense strategies
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
