About the Job
The Sr IT Systems Data Analyst works across teams to understand, model, architect, and document business-critical data for use in wider-scale business analytics, including corporate performance management (CPM), financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and data modeling.

Essential Functions
- Make ERP and other critical-source data accessible to those who need the information to streamline business processes (specifically financial data)
- Extract information from data sources
- Transform data into usable objects, load into appropriate repository
- Identify correlations and patterns
- Normalize complex data structures from assorted sources
- Work with stakeholders who use data to predict trends in the finance area and business conditions as a whole
- Perform statistical analysis of data
- Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
- Prepare reports and presenting these to management or stakeholders
- Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes based on the data
- Monitor data quality and prune corrupt data
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
- Use data to predict trends with construction customers and the construction market as a whole
- May develop user documentation or training materials
- Regular and predictable attendance

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data analysis, architecture and related activities
- Experience with CPM or EPM solutions like Hyperion (Oracle), SAP BPC, or Anaplan preferred
- Strong skills in SQL, particularly in writing complex queries for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with data management and integration (ETL processes), financial models and consolidations
Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance and Accounting or a related field from an accredited university or institution
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Possess a combination of technical skills, business analysis expertise, and familiarity with the data modeling, data transformation, and data engineering
- Strong understanding of system and data integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1), system schemas and field mapping.
- Extensive knowledge of technology, workflow management, report building and data visualization
- Extensive understanding of JD Edwards E1 system, applications, data, and data structures
- Working knowledge of FP&A tools such as OneStream, Anaplan, Hyperion, etc.
- Working knowledge of data lake/data warehouse tools such as Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
- Ability to understand complex database systems
- Strong organizational & time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Sound knowledge of documentation procedures, programming procedures and methods, operator instructions, and program flow charts
- Proven ability to provide solid customer service and exercise diplomacy
- Solid verbal and written communication skills

CCompensation & Benefits
- Salary $120,000-$135,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
