About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support our top pharmaceutical client to manage a laboratory upgrade project. The Project Manager will need to be well versed in GXP project environments and work through change controls, executing them on the equipment. You will work in a complex Manufacturing IT group supporting negotiation and coordination with the business.
You will play a key role in managing IT projects that involve laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with GXP regulations.

You will play a key role in managing IT projects that involve laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with GXP regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT projects related to laboratory instruments used in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain function.
- Lead change control processes for IT implementations impacting laboratory equipment, ensuring GXP compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, IT Infrastructure) to define project requirements, timelines, and resources.
- Work closely with instrument vendors and external partners (if applicable) for technical support and seamless system integration.
- Develop and execute project plans, manage risks, and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Maintain strong communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations and address potential issues.
- Document project activities and maintain clear and accurate records for audit purposes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest GXP regulations and best practices for IT implementations in a regulated environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, in a regulated environment (e.g., Pharma, Medical Devices).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth understanding of GXP regulations and their application to IT systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong working knowledge of laboratory equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing (i.e chemical composition, sample, quality control) and their associated IT infrastructure needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
