Position Description:
LCG's Growth team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. IT Project Manager (Part Time) to lead and coordinate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of critical office of the client. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, managing technical teams, and ensuring that all deliverables align with organizational goals and federal compliance standards. The Sr. IT Project Manager will employ best practices in project management and Agile methodologies to oversee workflows, system enhancements, and stakeholder collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management

Oversee and manage the maintenance, customization, and enhancements of multiple client systems, including:
- Provide support for internal and external SharePoint sites, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility compliance, and adherence to governance policies.
- Maintain and enhance the data repository system, addressing user feedback and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Oversee updates to the delegation system, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.
- Manage lifecycle activities for the policy management platform, including maintenance and stakeholder-driven updates.
- Provide operational support and enhancements, addressing security needs and user requirements.

Act as a primary liaison between stakeholders, developers, and technical staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Technical Oversight
- Collaborate with technical teams to design, implement, and optimize workflows, dashboards, and user interfaces.
- Provide guidance on accessibility compliance (e.g., Section 508) and ensure systems adhere to applicable IT security and privacy standards.
- Support data migration, database administration, and server/application maintenance in collaboration with organizational IT and technology support teams.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Conduct business consulting, stakeholder management, and training sessions to facilitate system adoption.
- Develop comprehensive project documentation, including training materials, user guides, and system reports.
- Coordinate regular updates with stakeholders and submit project progress metrics.
Agile Methodology
- Lead Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational priorities.
- Utilize project management tools such as JIRA to track development progress, capture requirements, and monitor deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management with a focus on IT system development, operations, and maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving:
- SharePoint (Online and On-Premise) operations and customizations.
- .NET-based applications and SQL Server database administration.
- Workflow and dashboard development.
- Section 508 compliance and Federal IT standards.
- Proven track record in Agile project management methodologies.
- Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (required).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (preferred).
Skills
- Strong understanding of system architecture and database lifecycle management.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office 365, JIRA, and other project management software.
- Familiarity with NIH policies, procedures, and IT infrastructure (preferred).
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $120,400 to $144,500 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The target salary is $120,400. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
