Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be recognized as a subject matter expert in administratively overseeing the activities of your team's operation as part of a larger Commercial Solution for Classified (CSfC) project staff. You'll need to have oversight on all your team functional activities with the larger CSfC project; Training, Cyber Security/accreditation, Engineering, and administrative activities. You will lead your team of subcontractors while participating in leadership synchronization meetings to ensure alignment with the overall program goals. A high-level technical understanding of the CSfC solution is required to assist with tasks related to scheduling, testing, and internal administrative management. You will play a key role in delivering the CSfC solution by acting as a trusted advisor and leader to your subcontractor team, contract personnel, and government stakeholders, ensuring that all activities are completed within the established scope, schedule, and budget. Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- This position is on-site, and candidate will be required to be onsite 5 days a week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or a BS/BA in another field with a minimum of 10 years of total experience as a Technical Project Manager.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- 3+ Years CSfC Project Management Experience
- Proven managerial and leadership experience, with at least 10 years of experience leading technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on ingenuity and creativity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, subcontractors, and government stakeholders at a high level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage your subcontractor team, providing technical direction, managing schedules, resolving internal administrative tasks, and ensuring your team's objectives align with the overall project goals.
- Project Oversight: Work with the project's prime leadership to oversee project execution, ensuring all milestones are met, and the project is delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. Collaborate closely with other subcontractor teams and government stakeholders, as needed.
Participation in Leadership Synchronization: Actively participate in leadership synchronization meetings to coordinate efforts with prime contractors and government representatives, ensuring project progress and addressing challenges proactively. - Technical Understanding: Leverage your knowledge of CSfC to assist in task scheduling, testing, and resolving technical issues that may arise within your subcontractor team and the larger project team.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for your subcontractor team with the prime contractor and government stakeholders. Provide expert insights and recommendations to advance project progress.
- System Analysis and Integration: Collaborate with stakeholders to perform in-depth analysis at all levels of the CSfC system, including design, implementation, testing, and validation, ensuring seamless integration across all elements.
- Site Surveys and Assessments: In coordination with government and other contractor stakeholders, conduct site surveys, system evaluations, and infrastructure assessments to ensure the project meets technical and operational requirements.
- Solution Development: Manage the conversion of customer and product requirements into system solutions that address technical, schedule, and cost constraints, ensuring alignment with the overall CSfC architecture.
- Problem Solving: Independently resolve complex technical and administrative issues, coordinating solutions with subcontractor and prime contractor teams.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the long-term strategic planning of the CSfC solution by recommending technical improvements, development initiatives, and R&D programs in collaboration with other subcontractor leads.
- Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
- Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
- Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
