This position will help modernize the design, delivery, and content management for the organization. This includes engaging graphic design that transforms static content into dynamic learning experiences. Our goal is to change the status quo by utilizing innovation and imagination. As part of the HR team and Organizational Effectiveness function, you will partner with stakeholders from across the company to manage training content and requirements. You will also build experiential activities appropriate for targeted learners and be challenged to continually improve our associates’ learning, development, and training experiences.
You should be an experienced instructional designer practitioner, with strong program management and graphic design skills. Demonstrated expertise using learning models, instructional design strategies, and learning assessment, and cross-functional and stakeholder-centered approaches to program management is required. A combined ability to manage collaboratively, design creatively, and execute tactically is a differentiator.
Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)
- Develop, manage, and design training content for our training programs, including but not limited to e-learning modules, videos, instructor-led training, job aids, and other materials as needed.
- Lead projects through the design lifecycle including scoping, research and analysis, design, development, and launch. Provide clear timelines through all phases, communicate with key partners, and select appropriate measurement for successful implementation.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to create engaging, effective, and compliant learning experiences that meet our business needs.
- Work under the supervision of the HR Experience Architect to clarify training needs and experiences
- Manage Learning Management System (LMS) for all training, including reporting and tracking progress on program effectiveness.
- Promotes Inogen culture pillars and business objectives.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Assists with any other duties as assigned.

- Ability to innovate and move quickly from analysis through development for self-paced environment - Experience utilizing the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model throughout the instructional design process.

Qualifications (Experience and Education)
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Communications, Education, or related field of study, required.
- 5years’ experience with adult learning theory and instructional design strategies for performance-based outcomes using Adobe Captivate and Storyline, required
- Advanced skill with multimedia tools, software, video, graphics, and audio applications, such as Articulate Rise and, Adobe Premiere preferred
- Submission of a portfolio required
- Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office, required.
- High level of experience with project management and time management methodologies to prioritize and deliver on several projects concurrently
- Experience managing training content in an LMS, preferred
- Demonstrated experience communicating technical/complicated concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visuals
- A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
