We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our fast-paced Energy industry team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of our HR policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, union relations, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) compliance. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping our organization's future by:
1. Developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
2. Managing the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and promote a positive company culture.
3. Serving as the main point of contact for union representatives and managing union relations effectively.
4. Collaborating with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
5. Developing and monitoring HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
6. Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and regulations and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
7. Providing guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
8. Identifying training needs for teams and individuals and monitoring training programs.
9. Assessing and anticipating HR-related needs and formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's Degree or HR certification will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in the Energy industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
4. Experience with HR metrics, including recruitment, onboarding, and union relations.
5. Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
6. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
8. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
9. Excellent people management skills and the ability to manage workflows effectively.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
