Client in Philadelphia, PA is seeking to fill a twelve plus month contract for a Sr. Full Stack Developer. This position is remote, but candidate must be available to come into the office for team meeting if needed. The ideal candidate will have worked as a Solution Architect/Engineer hybrid, who has a history of successful context switching between application design work, hands-on development, testing, research and mentoring in the development of highly available, maintainable, scalable and high-performing enterprise class, web solutions. This individual will have a start-up mindset with the ability to be successful in a very large organization, meaning that the successful candidate will be a self-starter, resourceful and a thought leader; however will need to possess tact, highly professional demeanor, with the ability to navigate a distributed organization.

What you will be doing:
This individual will work with a fast-paced product development team (e.g. engineering, product managers, SDETs and analysts) to design and develop an e-commerce marketplace with a global footprint. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify solutions that meet the needs of the business, utilizing industry standard best practices and creative design techniques to overcome complex business and technical challenges.
- Provide architecture leadership and mentor projects consisting of employees and outside contractors
- Create detailed end-to-end designs that entail the following elements: system/infrastructure, application, data storage, information security, integration and service-oriented design models.
- Provide focused, hands-on development in the delivery of the e-commerce platform and any associated integrations, functional modules, etc.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, progress reviews and other project specific governance
- Lead the development of working prototypes and conceptual models for stakeholder review
What you need to know to get the job done:
- 8+ years of related development experience
- eCommerce experience having implemented and customized storefront platforms
- Credit card processing and PCI compliance experience
- Experience working with the full Microsoft technology stack, including .NET 4.5, C# ,SQL Server, ASP.NET 4.5 (MVC 5) and Web API
- RESTful Architecture experience
- Applied knowledge of HTML5, Javascript and CSS
- Applied knowledge of AngularJS and Bootstrap.
- Applied knowledge and passion for unit/integration testing frameworks, such as xUnit, nUnit, Moq, etc.
- Applied knowledge of Inversion of Control (IoC) containers such as Autofac
- Object Relation Mapping such as Entity Framework or nHibernate
- Experience working as part of an Agile software development Scrum team
- Experience using source control, build and deploy management tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), GIT, TeamCity, Octopus
- Experience working for a national or global commercial software product company requiring software product usage and high availability in a 24/7/365 model.
- Proactive: Must be willing to seek out information and solutions that are pertinent to their responsibilities and key to their delivery
- Must be willing to remediate code written by others
Preferred Qualifications
- Web CMS experience a big plus
- nopCommerce experience is a big plus
- Experience with Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development
- Experience managing applications requiring internationalization and localization for global markets
