Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst - US Tech Solutions

Duration: 5 Months Contract

Work Schedule: In-office role; 2 days-a-week currently: Wed. & Thurs.

Notes:

· Interview must be with the actual background (no greenscreen) and with the camera on.

· Will be conducting analysis of P&Ls and doing cause of change analysis.

· Any experience in the wholesale world and related systems a strong plus.

Job Description:

· Responsible for accounting and reporting related duties related to the Branded Retail business

· Perform account reconciliations and journal entries to support accounting functions for Branded Retail: i.e. accruals, reclassifications, recognition, etc.

· Prepare and analyse Profit & Loss Statements and other financial reports for discrepancies and

variances. Work with partners to analyse these items to ensure a thorough understanding of differences versus forecasts or prior year

· Present analysis of financial information to managers and executives succinctly and precisely

· Review key contracts related to business activity to ensure proper recognition of revenues and costs from contractual obligations

· Controllership representative as part of cross functional global team (Operations, Sourcing, Credit & Collections, Finance, IT) to manage established processes and data integration flows

· Support requirements gathering and testing of new IT systems

· Lead process improvement on owned processes

· Perform ad hoc projects in support of the organization and business

· Synthesize research and findings into concise memos and presentations.

Experience:

· 3-5 years’ experience

· Demonstrated strong understanding of US GAAP Financial Statements

· Demonstrated strong analytical skills

· Demonstrated partnering, influencing, and communication skills up and down the organizational structure to convey key elements in a concise and positive manner

· Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work proactively and independently

· Ability to be flexible with work schedule

· Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and continuous process improvement skills

· Proven computer proficiency in Excel

Skills:

· Process Automation utilizing PowerBI, Desktop RPA, Macros, or similar automation tools

· SAP or other Enterprise accounting systems preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
