Sr. Financial Analyst, R&D Finance
The Sr. Financial Analyst, R&D Finance is a critical role within the EPIC finance team and UKG’s broader FP&A organization. This is an exciting and challenging role for a highly motivated, up and coming financial professional eager to support UKG’s growing finance organization.
This position provides end-to-end financial support for key functions within the R&D organization. The role interacts closely with various individuals from executive management to administrative support. The successful candidate possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills with an eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
How you will support the R&D organization:
•Take ownership in the management and reporting of several R&D pillars, providing end-to-end support for leaders across product and engineering
•Work closely with R&D Finance leadership and other members of the EPIC Finance organization to enhance reporting capabilities and execute on stretch projects across EPIC Finance
•Build relationships with business partners by meeting with them regularly to share financial results, prepare budget & forecasts, and to add value to their organization
•Support end-to-end planning and execution of various planning cycles throughout the year including annual budget and routine forecast updates
•Understand, interpret, and communicate financial results to both finance and business leadership to tell the “why” rather than just the “what”
•Become an expert in TM1, D365, and other key systems within UKG to accelerate the forecast timeline, enhance reporting, and increase productivity within the team
•Develop and formulate key assumptions to accurately reflect business activities and help facilitate decision making for leadership
•Conceptualize, design, and build models to address business opportunities and provide recommendations to business leaders
•Think outside the box to develop new ways of working and reporting by leveraging UKG systems and tools
Qualifications
•5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and modeling, working in a technology company preferred
•B.A. in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
•Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to interact and effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the Company
•Advanced excel skills including strong data manipulation skills, Power BI a plus
•Capability to develop financial modeling analysis with key attention to detail
•Strong organizational and analytical skills to understand business requirements and track plan changes

The pay range for this position is $78,800 to $100,750, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
