apree health is seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst to support our FP&A and Strategic Finance functions. The Senior Financial Analysts responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, financial statements analysis and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, and has a strong work ethic and an ability to develop cross-functional partnerships throughout the company. The candidate is able to process data from disparate sources to deliver accurate forecasts and actionable insights that support leaders in making critical business decisions.
Responsibilities: Assist teams and budget owners in understanding the business and financial impact of various scenarios. Drive budget owner engagement of the forecast and budget. Develop and maintain key reports for reviewing performance against the budget and other KPIs. Support the annual budgeting process & monthly forecast updates. Regularly update forecasts and models with current information, such as staffing changes, assumption updates, etc. Coordinate with Accounting team members to research and correct errors in the financial data. Support long term financial planning. Support generation of financial reports for senior leadership and Board meetings. Prepare statistical and financial reports as needed for internal and external key stakeholders. Identify system, process, and presentation improvements in the capture, interpretation, and management of financial data. Drive ad hoc analyses and reporting to support operational discipline and business decisions. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and decisions.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred or equivalent experience required 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continual improvement. Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning preferred. Exceptional excel modeling with a good understanding of basic accounting principles Previous experience with healthcare and/or SaaS is preferred Candidate with less experience maybe considered for a Financial Analyst position
Demonstrated Attributes: Strong attention to details and accuracy Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal) with an ability to translate complicated financial data to non-financial people. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, etc.) Highly organized Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization Self-starter capable of identifying inefficiencies, proposing and implementing scalable solutions Cultural fit: enthusiastic team player passionate about apree healths mission to transform healthcare Ability to be creative and innovative in a fast-paced environment with a great deal of ambiguity and constant change
