Responsibilities: + Reports, analyzes, forecasts, and interprets financial operating data; may include profit/loss analysis, cost analysis, product costing, rate of return, depreciation, and any other ad-hoc analysis of interest to management + Participates in the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan which may include functional area specific modeling, time-series analysis, and graphic presentation of both operating and financial data + Prepares complex financial analysis reports in a timely and accurate manner + Interprets and applies policies and procedures to new situations + Advises on and recommends to management desirable operational adjustments and interprets budget to actual variance + May perform ROI analysis investments and develop operating metrics + Reviews performance to plan and conduct prior year's variance analysis + Reviews business unit financial statements and policies to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines + Assists other Finance and organizational areas with financial matters as required and may serve as a mentor and evaluator of more junior team members Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + Minimum 5 years related experience + Financial experience in the manufacturing industry preferred + Advanced PC skills including Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite + Advanced understanding of financial analysis and accounting policies, procedures and programs (ex: general ledger systems) + Solid communication and interpersonal skills + Advanced skills in the development of financial ratios and comparative analysis + Thorough understanding of general accounting principles + Demonstrated ability to with mentoring of more junior team members The employing subsidiaries of Schwan’s Company are Equal Employment Opportunity Employers.
