Position Summary:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in preparing complex cost estimates, conducting pricing data studies, and providing insightful financial analyses. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting, and generating reports covering various financial aspects. Additionally, you will contribute to economic research and studies to support our organization's financial planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative analyses of financial information to support decision-making processes
- Track financial performance against goals and provide recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and trends
- Assist in the development of financial models for future business planning
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Cost Estimating, or related Finance field
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Knowledge of financial management principles and budgeting practices
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and safety
Other Requirements:
- Professional demeanor for meetings and presentations
