Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of all financial aspects of Crystal Farms. The individual will collaborate cross-functionally to provide analytics and insights to influence smart business decisions. In addition, this individual will play a major role in the annual planning, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and the development of Executive materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives. Utilize ROI, trending, forecasting, risk identification and mitigation tools as appropriate. Participate and lead preparation, analysis and communication of the annual planning activities. Drive innovation and standardization in reporting and forecasting processes, tools and analysis Lead the identification and management of risks and opportunities for company performance. Proactively manage product margin at the customer level and identify variances, trends, and action plans with a heavy emphasis on trade effectiveness. Provide analysis and support for trade funding planning and identify areas of optimization. Collaborate with Marketing on new product prioritization pipeline via size-of-the prize and related analysis P&L stewardship and capital investment analysis. Special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in finance/accounting or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. MBA preferred +5 years experience in financial analysis, planning, forecasting and revenue CPG industry preferred. Food and commodity-based business experience a plus. Excellent communication skills: ability to convey complex information to a broad audience with differing levels of subject matter expertise Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects' critical path towards business deliverables, under tight deadlines. Ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous data requests of varying size and scope Self-motivated team player who values organizational success and enjoys finding the right answer in a collaborative process, open to debate, and comfortable in active discussion Demonstrated mastery skills in Excel and other MS applications
