Sr. Finance Manager/Site Controller
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting / Finance or in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting
• 10+ years managerial experience in Accounting and/or Finance
• Manufacturing experience required
• C.P.A., preferred
• Strong experience in both the private and public accounting sectors preferred
• Proven progressive leadership record

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Business partner with the site leaders
• Provide the financial leadership and decision making in support of the business needs
• Oversee monthly closing process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and analytics
• Preparation of workpapers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances
• Prepare a/o review journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity
• Reconcile inventory to GL / perpetual reports
• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting is provided to Corporate for consolidation
• Manage transactions by department and compare costs incurred to budget, forecast with added explanations and performance analysis of all departments within the sites
• Working closely with Corporate, prepare annual budget and required forecasts working with sites leaders
• Coordinated via Corporate, assist where needed with annual tax return, R&D tax credit and year-end audit
• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls, aligned with Corporate, as they apply to Lynwood site
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
• Proper analytical review of the operations from a balance sheet and income statement perspective as well as an overall business perspective
• Participate with annual Year-end Audit – as it applies to the Lynwood site
• Partner with the site to develop costing models for any new opportunity
• Work cross-functionally with broader Finance and Accounting teams across the company
• Track and report all Capital Expenditure for the site, prepare ROI as needed for any capital investment.
