About the Job
The Senior Finance Analyst will oversee and coordinate the Global Engines strategic and financial planning process, monthly Operating Committee reporting and the publication of all related financial reports. Responsible for the analysis of the financial performance for the Engines business and driving continuous improvement with regards to standard processes, procedures, and systems across all regions.
Specific responsibilities:

Coordinates and analyzes the Engines strategic and financial plans, monthly results, and projections. Directs and assists all Engines business associates in the preparation and submission of planning and projection data and safeguards the integrity and accuracy of data relating to these activities.

Ensures coordination of Engines plans and projections are in line with other business groups and corporate guidelines.

Analyzes both high-level and detailed financial data to identify areas of improvement, recommend solutions, and help drive results back through the financial statements by working closely with all department leadership teams.

Responsible for process ownership and consolidation of the Global Engines capital plan. This includes regional consolidation, ensuring capex employed is aligned with strategic direction, standardizing profitability calculations, tracking and reporting actual and projected expenditure, and maintaining capital financial systems. Serves as business point-of-contact for all capital-related questions.

Works with all regions to drive process standardization and improvement as well as optimizing Rehlko's financial systems usage in financial planning, monthly forecasting, product line / customer reporting, and operating expense tracking.

Oversees the explanations of results from finance leaders. This includes income statements, cash flow, and key balance sheet metrics which requires solid working knowledge of each Engines business' financials.

Maintains the financial planning software platform that will allow for plan summarization by product, channel, market, customer, and/or segmented as necessary to manage the business.

Coordinates publication of the monthly operating statements. This includes ensuring adherence to corporate requirements in both content and quality, as well as addressing the specific needs of Engines.

Provides guidance and assistance for major Engines projects requiring a broad understanding of the business.

Perform other assignments as directed by Controller - Engines.

Reports to the Controller - Engines.

Works closely with key business managers and all levels of financial personnel in the Engines business.

Interacts on a regular basis with a variety of corporate accounting personnel.

Works with external auditors, consultants, and due diligence organizations.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

1-2 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst.

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards and rules.

Proficiency in using spreadsheets, ERP systems and database modeling tools.

Business forecasting and budgeting experience.

Proven financial analysis and data modeling skills.

Track record of financial communication to non-finance associates.

Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong organizational skills.
Important Notice: This position is primarily remote. However, if you reside within a 50-mile radius of a Rehlko site, you may be required to work onsite at least 2-3 business days per week.
