Job DescriptionOverview:
Conduct quantitative and financial analysis within the Farming operation. We are looking for a Sr. Farming Analyst who possesses strong skills in data, data analysis and research. They will develop and maintain databases and extract information to present data in a format relative to Farming operations.
Here's what you'll do:
- Work with management to improve data gathering and reporting capabilities
- Serve as in-house expert/resource for restricted use materials reporting platform
- Database management and reporting of ranch resource projects such as wind machine usage, sizer data reporting, development plans etc
- Collect, analyze, and maintain data related to water resource operations
- Regulatory tracking and reporting for numerous water, county, and state agencies
- Represent the company in the community and at public and professional meetings
Here's what you'll bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Analytics, Agri Business or related field, with 4+ years of work experience conducting data and statistical analysis in a work setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems, including data mining and analysis
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Oracle and Power BI Reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Comfortable performing general administrative duties
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to summarize and illustrate trends, develop, and execute database queries, and develop and format modeling inputs and outputs.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned projects.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $90,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
