Position Overview:
The Business Operations Leader for Global ERP Implementations will spearhead the deployment and integration of IFS ERP solutions across the Aerospace & Defense and Industrial Manufacturing sectors. This role is pivotal in driving process standardization, managing change, overseeing data conversions, and ensuring robust user adoption across global operations. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills to deliver seamless ERP implementations and optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Implementation Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end global implementation of IFS ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices working closely with the IT team.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for ERP implementation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external consultants, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Process Standardization:
- Identify, evaluate, and implement standardized processes across global operations to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Develop and enforce process documentation, policies, and procedures to support standardized operations.
- Continuously monitor and improve processes to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.
- Change Management:
- Design and execute comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during ERP implementations.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate project objectives, benefits, and progress.
- Address resistance and foster a culture of acceptance and support for new processes and systems.
- Data Conversion and Integrity:
- Oversee data migration activities, ensuring accurate and secure data conversions from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Collaborate with data stewards to establish data quality standards and resolve data-related issues.
- User Adoption and Training:
- Develop and implement user training programs to enhance ERP system proficiency and utilization.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to end-users to ensure effective adoption of the ERP system.
- Gather user feedback and continuously improve training materials and support mechanisms.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of ERP implementations and process standardization efforts.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate project status, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Product Transfer Support to High-Efficiency / Low-Cost Manufacturing Sites:
- Support the seamless transfer of products to high-efficiency / low-cost manufacturing sites to optimize production processes and achieve cost savings targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of product lines and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical and programmatic issues during the transfer process to minimize production disruptions.
- Low-Cost Sourcing and Capital Equipment Deployment:
- Aid in the strategic deployment of capital equipment to support the company’s growth and transfer initiatives.
- Ensure equipment is effectively integrated into new and existing operations, enhancing production efficiency and capacity.
- Assist in the identification and leveraging of in-country low-cost sourcing opportunities to reduce manufacturing expenses and increase AOI.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate and select cost-effective suppliers.
- Support of Strategic Projects:
- Contribute to strategic projects aimed at transforming manufacturing sites to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with project managers, site leaders and cross functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.

- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in IFS ERP and related technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to Aerospace & Defense and Industrial Manufacturing.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations, ERP implementation, or project management, preferably within the Aerospace & Defense or Industrial Manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, global ERP implementation projects, specifically with IFS ERP.
- Experience in process standardization, change management, data conversion, and user training.

- This position requires frequent travel to global sites for project oversight and stakeholder engagement.
Especially during key events like kickoff, testing events and go-lives.
