Sr Enterprise Cloud Architect, you'll be responsible for cloud strategy, architecture, and adoption, guiding the development and support of assigned enterprise cloud initiatives of high priority and complexity through strategic blueprints and roadmaps.
You'll ensure cloud solutions align to Enterprise Architecture strategies, standards, and patterns across business, data, applications, and infrastructure architecture layers of high priority and complexity. You'll coordinate activities with leadership, architects, SMEs, and program management to support architecture governance and ensure alignment of IT products/projects with Enterprise Architecture standards, blueprints, and roadmaps, and reduce costs and risks by reducing duplication and redundancy across capabilities.
Help develop reference architectures and guidelines for Cloud technology adoption and implementation (i.e. cloud migration, application modernization, ERP integration, DevOps, etc.). Creating enterprise patterns, models, designs, standards, identifying leading technology trends.
Additionally, you'll facilitate coordination and collaboration with business area leadership & architects, SMEs, IT leadership, and program management to build support, staying current on cloud strategies and technologies as they apply to the organization. Design a hybrid cloud environment with production support efficiency in mind. Cloud scope includes public, hybrid, and multi-cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS)
Must-haves:
- Strong Technical and Hands-on skills in breadth of cloud, multi-cloud (AWS & Azure)
- Deploying and operating Azure or AWS services
- Able create POCs
- Experience in public, private internal, hybrid, and/or multi-cloud environments
- Familiar with service designing and pricing of cloud-based solutions
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, highly professional, diplomatic, demonstrated executive-level presence, outstanding stewardship, and relationship building skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Networking, Security, IAM architectures
Preferred:
- Cloud Solutions Architect Professional level certifications in AWS and/or Azure
- Automation, Orchestration, Monitoring experience
- Advanced experience with enterprise architecture, capability planning, and alignment of IT to corporate and Business Area strategy
- Experience with Cloud Readiness assessments and migrations using common migration processes and tools
- Strong working knowledge of Identity Architecture concepts and solutions such as SAML 2.0, OpenID/OAuth, Kerberos, etc.
- Experience and working knowledge of Data Engineering concepts and technologies in the cloud including, EDW, ETL/ELT, Data Lake, etc
- Designing, developing, and integrating applications
- Understanding of business organization, politics and culture, and analysing competitive situations
- Innovating and thinking creatively, Proactive style with excellent communication skills
