Sr. Electronics Engineer | Schedule: 40 hours/week in office (not remote)

Salary: $84,000 - $140,000. per year

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to lead our client's Electronics Engineering team in Albuquerque, NM!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the design and development of complex electrical hardware systems, including schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine system architecture, ensuring alignment with product requirements and objectives.
- Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes to validate and iterate upon design concepts.
- Establish comprehensive testing procedures and protocols to verify the functionality, performance, and safety of hardware systems.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test plans.
- Ensure that hardware designs meet all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, firmware engineers, and project managers, to drive successful project outcomes.
- Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Management and leadership experience.
- Strong background in CAD design of circuits, modules, and processors.
- Design experience involving A/D, D/A, and microcontrollers.
- Experience writing, scheduling, and cost estimating proposals.
- Aircraft interface experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Experience Desired
- Any experience with military environment, commercial aircraft, military aircraft, ground vehicles, or support equipment.
- FPGA experience.
