Sr. Electrical Engineer
St. Louis Park, MN | Direct-hire | $90,000-$130,000 | Hybrid
Konik is partnering with a leading engineering services firm that is looking to add an additional Sr. Electrical Engineer to their team. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be accountable for delivering top-notch, streamlined designs and documentation, as well as overseeing construction administration for projects involving lighting, power, and systems.
Sr. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
- Guide junior staff members in their project growth and development.
- Foster clear communication with both team members and fellow design professionals.
- Aid and guide the owner in making well-informed decisions regarding lighting and system choices.
- Establish a benchmark for providing prompt construction administration services.
- Ensure project deadlines are met, potentially necessitating extra hours.
- Employ company software proficiently for precise task completion and staff management, ensuring effectiveness and timeliness.
- Conduct quality assurance checks for projects.
- Effectively juggle multiple internal and external priorities.
- Craft designs that are accurate, compliant with codes, well-coordinated, and resource-efficient.
- Conduct assessments of facilities and verify sites as needed.
Sr. Electrical Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- PE or FE is preferred, but not required if degreed
- 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in architectural, engineering, or construction fields
- Proven experience in mentoring and guiding junior staff members in project development.
- Proficiency in using relevant software (Outlook, Excel, BlueBeam, AutoCad, Revit, Word, COMcheck, AGI 32, SKM Power Tools, and LiquidPlanner) for task completion and staff management.
- Solid understanding of electrical design principles and codes to develop accurate and compliant designs.
