Multidisciplined Sr Electrical Engineer

Description

The new company is looking for a multi-disciplined Electrical Engineer with experience in one or more of the following areas:  design and implementation of digital signal processing algorithms, FPGA firmware development, RF system and circuit design, RF/Analog/Digital circuit-card design, and/or embedded software development

Role and Responsibilities

The candidate will work as part of a team to design, implement, and test a state-of-the-art radar system

Education and Experience

Minimum:  BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field with 5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred:  Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Electrical Engineering or similar filed with 3+ year of relevant experience

Required Skills

We are looking for candidates with skills in one or more of the following areas

• Development and simulation of signal processing algorithms using Matlab or similar tools.
• Implementation of signal processing algorithms in FPGAs, ASICs, or software
• Circuit card design (RF, analog and/or digital). Includes defining requirements, selecting components, performing schematic capture, testing and troubleshooting
• Development of real-time embedded software

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following are preferred

• Design and implementation of signal processing algorithms for radar or wireless communication systems
• Schematic capture and layout using Altium Designer
• Xilinx FPGA development tools, i.e Vivado, Vitis, System Generator, Model Composer
• Xilinx Multiprocessing SoCs
