- As our Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electrical systems for commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: Lead projects and provide invaluable support for specific design tasks and calculations, ensuring their successful completion.
- Design Excellence: Tackle a wide range of design tasks, from power distribution at low and medium voltage, lighting, fire alarm, communications, electronic safety and security systems, control, and calculations, to grounding system design and power study analysis.
- Revit Mastery: Complete designs using Revit, embracing cutting-edge technology to create efficient and innovative solutions.
- Project Acumen: Possess a working knowledge of project design, specifications, construction, design software, cost, and scheduling on assigned projects.
- Project Lifecycle: Showcase your ability to work on mid to large-size projects from conception to realization, demonstrating your expertise at every phase.
- Collaborative Spirit: Communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and disciplines across various locations, ensuring seamless project execution.
- To shine in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Hold a Professional Engineering License, a testament to your expertise and commitment to the field.
- A minimum of 20 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience with industry-standard software such as SKM or ETAP for power studies.
- Consulting engineering experience in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, communications, electronic safety and security systems, and grounding for educational (K-12 and higher education) and/or commercial facilities.
- Expertise in medium voltage systems is a must.
- While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be highly regarded
- Experience in the aviation sector, a significant advantage for this role.
- Previous experience working at an Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) firm, a strong plus.
- A competitive salary range between $100,000 and $130,000, reflective of your qualifications and experience, awaits you.
- Work on a Monday to Friday schedule.
- Enjoy regular hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
