Job Duties: Medline Industries, LP is seeking experienced Sr. EDI Analyst(s) to join the Enterprise Integration team in the Libertyville, IL office. This position will work with Medline’s customers and vendors to design and enable data integration across the Order2Cash area. In addition, this position will provide technical expertise and support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and other Business-to-Business communications.
Job responsibilities and duties include:
Test, implement and maintainB2B transactions.
Develop and maintain trading partner definitions including relevant translation objects utilizing B2B translation software tools.
Support the user community and creates and maintains partner relationships with customers and vendors.
Work independently on medium to high complexity EDI designs and mapping programs.
Facilitate design meetings with users, management, and architects.
Provide Production support including off-hours support as needed comprising, but not limited to, participating in the on-call rotation.
Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources.
This position has no direct reports and does not supervise the work of any other employees.
Minimum
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Engineering Telecommunication, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) through which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a foreign degree equivalent.
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:
1. Experience working with one or more of the following leading EDI platforms: Seeburger BIS, IBM Sterling Integrator/GIS, SAP PI/PO, or Biztalk.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of the SAP Order-to-cash process.
3. Designing B2B architecture for HL7 (Health Level Seven) customers for ADT, DFT and Charge file messages.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of one or more of the following EDI standards: HL7, ANSI X12, or CXML.
5. Seeburger Mapping Designer (BIC MD) and Seeburger Front End.
6. Connectivity protocols: HTTP/s, FTP, SFTP, and AS2.
7. File format: CXML, HL7, ANSI X12, JSON(API), XML, CSV, SAP IDOC, and HL7.
8. Experience with three or more of the following HL7 Message Types: ADT (A01, A04, A08, A11, A13 and A40), DFT (P03), EDI, Retail- ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, DFT(P03), EDI,
Retail- ORDERS, ORDRSP, or DESADV.
No travel required. Work from home (WFH) benefit available; position requires the ability to come into the office for meetings when needed.
