Mayzon is a leading supplier of bathroom and household products such as shower curtains and rods, slipcovers, medicine cabinets and more. Our products are offered in most major retail stores in the United States and Canada.
Mayzon is recruiting for a Sr. Director of Sales (Off Price Channel). Mayzon is a well-established company with offices in New York City, Montreal and New Castle, Delaware. This will be a hybrid position based out of our NY office.
Salary Range: 150K to 180K
Description
The Senior director will play an integral role in driving RGI Home’s strategic account direction. Candidates will work to improve RGI’s position with existing accounts to achieve revenue growth, and drive business in new markets. You will build new key customer relationships and identify business opportunities by working collaboratively with our product development team, other Sales team, and executive teams.
We are seeking experienced candidates who are energetic and resourceful self-starters. You will bring a dynamic attitude and strong leadership qualities to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Costco.
- Understand the home products market, be familiar with competitors and their product suite- Define white space opportunities and aware of competition.
- Develop & refine sales strategy including distribution, pricing, promotion, merchandising, category expansion, and category management.
- Develop annual forecast & sales plan and Profitability Margin Goals.
- Manage $12-$20 M in revenue across all clients and divisions through partnership in key customer relationships and driving new customer opportunities.
- Aggressively grow assigned product category by prospecting new opportunities and increasing business with existing accounts.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team
- Development of multiple channels selling strategies with constant focus on sales goals and overall profitability
- Actively search for new opportunities
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure success
Qualifications
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree w/ a business related or marketing major required
- MBA preferred
- 10 Years Sales experience working in consumer products, home, and/or retail industry.
- Off-price retailer experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of the market, economics, and the home space.
- Demonstrated ability to grow businesses and Operation in cross-functional work environment – a take charge attitude and strong project management skills are a must.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Strong command of retail and distribution pricing model.
- Strong Leadership experience.
