What you’ll do

DoubleVerify’s Business Development team is chartered to ensure DoubleVerify’s services are distributed and available wherever our customers conduct business. As a senior member of the Business Development team, you will be tasked with building deeper relationships with the largest Broadcast, Streaming TV & VOD providers and supporting Ad technology to enable DV to expand service capabilities and coverage in the CTV & Video Ad market, taking into consideration the needs of our customers and our Company’s core objectives – and executing on your recommended plan. Your expertise and insights will drive the strategic direction of the Company’s partnership expansion across Streaming TV & Video. You will have the responsibility to own the lifecycle of a partnership deal, from identifying the opportunity to establishing the initial contact through closing the deal and launching the solution. You will have the unique opportunity to work with the global leaders in broadcast TV, ad tech and more with the goal of driving revenue-generating deals for our company and delighting our customers with expanded services:

1. Provide strategic plan that prioritizes partner opportunities across Broadcast, Streaming TV & Video, based on Company needs and objectives.
2. Identify, close and manage revenue-generating partnerships that expand the Company’s services and strengths.
3. Quantitatively assess new market opportunities for Broadcast & Streaming TV specific capabilities (Program level classification, CTV Attention, OMSDK CTV), including market size and leaders, and provide recommended approach for the company.
4. Cultivate strong relationships with influential counterparts at current and prospective partner companies in the ad tech and Broadcast, Streaming TV & Video Ad Industries.
5. Collaborate with DoubleVerify’s Product, Sales and Account Management teams to understand market trends, prioritize client needs and develop best-in-class partnerships.
6. Evangelize DoubleVerify’s value propositions, best practices and perspectives to our partners and our industry peers, including attending key industry events across the region and participating in panel/speaking engagements.

Who you are

We are looking for an energetic and passionate leader who will lead DoubleVerify’s Business Development efforts with a focus on Streaming TV & Video. The ideal candidate will have:

1. 7+ years’ experience in a consulting, technical sales or business/corporate development capacity.
2. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
3. Proven leadership in every aspect.
4. Demonstrable experience in evaluating business opportunities, providing strategic guidance and/or closing complex transactions.
5. Experience building and scaling Ad technology businesses in the Broadcast & Streaming TV marketplace.
6. Ability to drive proactive outreach to potential partners, including identifying influencers and establishing the initial point of contact, and strategically maneuvering scenarios where multiple stakeholders drive the decision on an outcome.
7. Working knowledge of the Broadcast & Streaming TV industry is preferable.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $122,000 - $230,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
