Sr Director, AI and Data Products - Johnson and Johnson

VELYS Digital Surgery Platform, part of DePuy Synthes, is recruiting for a Senior Director, Data and Artificial Intelligence products. This position will be based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership and execution of global end-to-end initiatives related to the development, launch and scaling of Data and Analytics products for the Velys portfolio. This individual will lead a team of 3 to 7 people and has influence over entire Digital / Software portfolio across DPS platforms. This individual will also be responsible for global CRM, commercial excellence and systems infrastructure required to support sales of Digital Enabling Tech and Data products.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with R&D, Cybersecurity, Regulatory, Legal, HEMA, JJT and GGM teams to define Data and Analytics strategy, products requirements, value proposition and evidence needs.
• Create a unique marketing and sales capability centered around Velys Insights ecosystem.
• Build an agile capability focused on data engineering, data visualization and data science to rapidly iterate on customer needs to deliver prototype solutions.
• Build and maintain suitable cloud and on-premise infrastructure to deliver an agile prototyping capability for data and analytics use cases for Velys portfolio.
• Define requirements and delivery mechanisms for scaling prototype solutions into Product solutions.
• Build critical capabilities in the area of AI / ML and prioritization of most relevant use cases within Orthopedic surgery.
• Create a data strategy encompassing access, contracting, data rights and privacy.
• Lead a team that delivers thought leadership in the AI/ML space for DPS, sets strategy and direction on the most important trends for prioritization.
• Lead Commercial Excellence for Velys Digital Surgery including health of business, competitive insights and commercial analytics.
• Set strategy for global CRM capabilities and systems infrastructure required to support sales of Digital Enabling tech and Data products.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Economics, and or Finance; or other related disciplines. Advanced degree preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10 years of progressive experience in (either or all): Finance, Digital Marketing, Strategy, Analytics, Global Marketing, or R&D.
• Global business collaboration expertise, Experience working with and influencing C-suite leaders and Experience in delivering customer facing data products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving and willing / capable of keep pace with rapidly evolving analytics space (AI / ML advances)
• Proven history of collaboratively working with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results.
• People leadership and experience.
• Effective communication skills including presentation skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proven history working in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed.
• Trained in Agile methodologies.
• Strong people management experience

Other:

• This role will be based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. and may require up to 25% Domestic & International (weekends when required)
