Job Title: Sr Developer (.NET Core)

Job Type: Full-time permanent role

Job Location: Woodland Hills, CA

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite, 2 days remote but will eventually become 5 days/week onsite)

Salary: $120K - $140k/year plus benefits

Responsibilities:

Client is looking for a Sr. Software Developer to join our growing world-class development team. Use your technology talents to solve unique and challenging travel industry problems, while contributing to our vision of a vibrantly engaging client customer experience.

We're looking for a full-stack Sr. Software Developer to help us improve and maintain an existing WinForms application, while assisting in the design and development of the next-generation Central Gateway Hub, which serves as the backbone of the client ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support and maintain n-tier legacy Windows applications that utilize multi-languages such as
  VB.NET
  & C#
• Support and maintain SOAP Web Services APIs that utilize multi-languages such as
  VB.NET
  & C#
• Support and maintain, Web applications that use C#,
  ASP.NET
  MVC, .NET Core, React, and SQL
• Develop, Integrate and maintain Azure serverless APIs to support application functionality (C#, SQL)
• Design and implement scalable solutions, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Maintain and enhance systems based on user needs and changing business requirements.
• Stay current on best practices in IT technology, processes and applications, development and support.
• Collaborating with team members, including fellow developers, product managers, and business subject matter experts, to gather accurate requirements and deliver high-quality software
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate scheduled on-call production support rotation. This includes monitoring systems, responding to alerts, troubleshooting and resolving issues, communicating with team members to provide regular updates, escalation and documentation.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with
  VB.NET
  , C#,
  ASP.NET
  MVC and .NET Core.
• 8+ years .NET Framework development experience (framework 4.5.1 and above)
• Proficiency with T-SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures, user-defined functions, and SQL queries.
• Experience developing SOAP APIs, RESTful APIs and Azure Functions
• Understanding of client-server architecture, Domain model and the MVC design pattern
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio (2019+) and SQL Server Management Studio (2019+)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and modern build / deploy practices
• Experience with data modeling and/or developing and working with re-usable frameworks
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design
• Proficiency in interpreting and documenting technical requirements.
• Experience using source code control systems.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with an understanding of the Agile SDLC
• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail.
• Possesses exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Self-directed, creative, self-­motivated, independent, and a good communicator
• Authorized to work in the US
• Experience with Azure Services (DevOps, Virtual Machines, Application Insights) is a plus
• Knowledge of Crystal and DevExpress Reports a plus.
• Travel or financial platform experience preferred; Cruise or hotel/hospitality platform experience is a plus
